Mission Statement
The Community Relations Team exists to support and resource local outreach
opportunities through the PLCC community.
The Community Relations Team is the undergirding team that supports and encourages the work of local
outreach in the PLCC community by communication, connection and challenge.
Communicate
The Community Relations Team will encourage the local outreach ministries by utilizing the following:

PLCC newsletters

Bulletin boards
-
The telling of stories
-
Monthly Team meetings with ministry leaders

Developing a local outreach calendar

Regular communications with Global Missions
-
Dialogue with our community partners
Connect
The Community Relations Team will help connect the PLCC community with local outreach opportunities by:

Serving as a resource regarding local outreach opportunities

Assisting individuals and groups with taking the first steps toward involvement

Helping to match longstanding groups in the church with opportunities in the
community

Integrating ministries

Continuing to explore ways to encourage the “3 E’s” -
expose, experience, engage
Challenge

By making the needs of hurting people known, the Community Relations Team hopes to challenge all
to reach out and serve as our Lord's hands and feet in the local communities.
