Life Groups
What is a Life Group?
The Christian life is designed to be lived in community. This is
what Jesus modeled and how the early church developed. That’s why
everyone at PLCC is urged to join a Life Group to connect, learn, care and
celebrate with other friends.
Life Groups at PLCC are 10-15 people that meet regularly in convenient
locations for learning around the Bible, meeting new people and having fun
together. You can choose a group based on its time, location, day of
the week or topic of study. Check out the options available this fall
and choose one that works for you.
Life Group Resources
Most Life Groups use a book or resource to enhance learning and
connection. Please take note of the resource(s) listed and purchase it
before the first group gathering. You can find them online or through
a local bookstore.
Core Life Groups
On our journey of faith we need to intentionally pursue God with our
heart, soul, mind and strength. These Core Life Groups will assist you in
that process of growth toward wholeness in Christ. They are intended for
every person at PLCC to develop the “core seeds” of faith, both for your
personal growth and for sharing with others.
These five Core experiences are designed with the Life Group values of
connection, learning, care and celebration. They follow the same calendar
rhythm as other Life Group sessions and will be offered at least once during
the year on Sunday morning, with several offered on alternate days.
New Life Groups
New groups form three times a year. Do you have an idea for a Life
Group? Would you like to hear more about facilitating a Life Group?
